On our first Utah ride of the season we mountain biked the JEM Trail in Hurricane Utah. It’s a pretty flat, semi flowy trail that cross country riders would love!
This was a 14.7 mile ride, and there is on only one small black diamond section on the JEM Trail where you could easily walk the features if you weren’t feeling it.

Who should ride the JEM Trail
There are only a couple of black diamond areas at the top of the JEM Trail. Most of the trail can be ridden by any experience level, and would be fun for them.
All of the black diamond areas can easily be walked, and I wouldn’t avoid any areas of the trail. It’s all good!
There isn’t much elevation change on the JEM, which makes it not a very hard ride. In fact, you can ride it as fast as you’d like to increase the intensity. You can also ride it slow and chill.
