Warm up
30 hug yourself’s (arms wide as you can, then hug yourself)
30 trunk/upper body rotations (plant your feet and rotate only your upper body as far as it wants to go each direction, letting your arms flop around)
30 arm circles forward and backwards
30 banded external rotations (each arm)
30 banded pull-a-parts
30 air squats
30 toes touches / hip hinges to get the hamstrings firing and back warmed up
2 easy rounds of:
10 burpees
10 DB deadlifts
10 DB bench press
12 DB walking lunges
*Practice your burpee deadlifts. They are a little awkward.

6 burpee DB deadlifts
17 DB bench press
42ft DB walking lunges
About Burpee Deadlifts
When you write a birthday workout you want to give some of what the person likes and some of what they don’t like. For Joe… he loves deadlifts and dislikes burpees.
So, burpee deadlifts are a perfect way to mix and match just that into his birthday workout!
